Stuffed Banana Peppers/Chillies

Chillies are much loved in our home. We will run out of any vegetable, but chillies are always stocked. The stronger the flavor, the better it is for us. So as a first post, I will give you a side dish with Banana Peppers which is a favorite at home.  The dish turns spicy hot if the seeds are not scraped.

Recipe for Stuffed Chillies/Peppers
2 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 Banana Peppers
  • 1 Medium Onion diced
  • 1 Medium Tomato diced
  • 2 tbsp Besan

  • Mix diced tomato, onion, besan, salt and jeera in a bowl.
  • Add a tsp of water to make it into a thick paste.
  • Stuff the sliced chillies with the above paste.
  • Heat a tava or a pan, add the oil and place the stuffed chillies, seams sides up.
